Nelsi Torres Perez, who runs the Education Board at the Provincial Department on STIs and HIV – AIDS, said as part of the prevention actions an office was opened in Holguin city to provide information and advice on the issue.
The new office not alone gives advice, but also tests free of charge to detect any possible infection.
This is a step forward prevention of STIs and HIV – AIDS in the province.
The idea is giving advice as a way of preventing infections of any kind thru the people's education, making emphasis on the ways to keep out them, mainly in the population prone to risks.
