At times of the 35 years of John Lennon's killing, an exhibition titled El submarino amarillo (The Yellow Submarine) will be opened today at the Provincial Center of the Arts, in the north-eastern Cuban city of Holguin.
The curator of the exhibition, Danilo Lopez, said it a project Holguin has been doing since 1998 to pay homage to Lennon.
Some 25 artists will exhibit about 40 works in the year's show.
The opening at 4:00 PM (Havana time) will include a concert by Banda America which will play pieces interpreted by The Beatles.
The concert will close at 05.00 p.m., time Lennon was killed by Mark David Chapman.
They invite the goers of the music from 1960's, specially of the celebrated children of Liverpool, to go to the Provincial Center of the Arts dressed at the style when their music was shaking the world last century.
