The top Cuban musicians played master pieces of the country's pop music: Chan Chan, Veinte años, El cuarto de Tula and Tal vez.

For twenty about minutes the White House was rattled by the infectious performance of the legendary Cuban musicians, among them Omara Portuondo, Eliades Ochoa, Lazarito Torres, among others.

Celebrated Cuban singer, Omara Portuondo, a Diva of this music group that has performed all across the world, said the concert at the U.S. official residence responds to an invitation by President Barack Obama.

Barack Obama and Vice-President, Joe Biden, were not present while Cuban musicians were on the stage, but US President shared with them once the concert concluded.

This is the first time that Cuban musicians residing over the Caribbean nation perform in that event for the last fifty years.

Also, Portuondo told her followers that, due to this event, the concert scheduled for Thursday at the Ikeda Theater - part of the band's international tour - will be put off for October 21

The program of the ceremony at the White House also included a speech by President Obama on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the initiative for the Educational Excellence of Hispanics. / ACN.
