A documentary and a video on the 80th birthday of CMKO are now produced by Idalberto Betancourt and Luis Ernesto Urbino, staffers from that Cuban radio station.

Holguin: Radio Producers Meet, CMKO Extolled
They decided to call them "CMKO: 80 años de Radio" (CMKO: 80 Years of Radio) inspired on the long waited 80th birthday (August first) of the main station of the Radio Broadcasting System of Holguin Province.
Testimonies by radio staffers who made their living at CMKO or worked there some tome are shown in the documentary and the video.
CMKO was renamed Radio Angulo after its owner (Manuel Angulo Farran) on the sixth of January, 1959 at the initiative of its workers.
Testimonies by Estela Alonso, widow of Manuel Angulo Farran; their daughter Olga; reporter Nicolas de la Peña; sound operator, presenter and actor Isidoro Urbino appear in the documentary and a video.
But also presenters Vilma Perez de Aguiar - National Radio Prize – and Osvaldo Aguilera Gonzalez - Artist of Merit of the Cuban Radio, together with Moraima Lopez Leon, who runs the Radio Broadcasting System of Holguin Province.
Both the documentary and the video include testimonies of Radio Angulo goers too.
