Cuban VP Lazo Receives Salvadoran Lawmaker
The president of the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador, Deputy Lorena Peña, met on Thursday in Havana with Deputy Esteban Lazo Hernandez, the president of the National Assembly of the People's Power (ANPP), during a visit the legislator of the neighboring country paid to the headquarters of the Cuban Parliament.

Peña, who also chairs the El Salvador-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, was accompanied by Irma Amaya, deputy of the Central American Parliament, and by Sandra Gonzalez, Ambassador of El Salvador to Havana.

Also present at the fraternal meeting were deputies Ana Maria Mari Machado, vice- president of the ANPP; Yolanda Ferrer, president of the International Relations Committee; and deputy Luis Morlote, president of the Cuba-El Salvador Parliamentary Friendship Group. / ACN.
