The emblematic Hotel Royalton, locate in the downtown of the south-eastern Cuban city of Bayamo, was awarded again (November 26) with the "Quality Leader," highest prize granted by the National Union of Hotels and Tourism (SNTHT).

Because of its excellent operation, the institution is one of the 25 exalted among the over 4000 hotels of Cuba, this time has been the only one of the Islazul group in achieve such significant condition and it is among the seven hotels that maintain this merit since 2014.
At the event, held in its own lobby, also the Royalton received the "XX Anniversary" Flag that celebrates the establishment of the SNTHT, granted exclusively to those excellence centers on the quality of services, economic efficiency and internal control.
The general secretary of the union, Victor Lemagne Sanchez, praised the annual path forward Hotel and the prospects for the sector for the end of the year:
"Only 45 days until the Cuban tourism will arrive at 3 million visitors and we prepared to face a higher stage of international tourism. It is estimated that this year the plan will be fulfilled at 100.5%.
"I would say that this is a great contribution of workers and managers of the sector to that call made by the Army General Raul Castro, to contribute for the country to reach the 4% of gross national product."
The Royalton hotel was promote to the top due to its results services, as the increase of the tourist arrivals standards, which marks a 25% of growth compared to the last year. Moreover, the highest rate of tourist satisfaction, 97%.
