The exhibit offers 46 visual works which sum in texts, images, colors and symbols the sight of creators pertaining to the Cuban Association of Social Communicators around the military installation established on Cuban soil for more than a century violating the island's sovereignty.

The posters on exhibition at the Mariana Grajales Revolution Square, also claim for the closing of the torture center that this place has turned into at the beginning of the present century, today with more than 100 prisoners.

In the halls of that monumental sculpture where Guantanamo residents have met with the historic leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro, the Fourth International Seminar on Peace and the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases will be held.

The event is scheduled from November 23 to 25 and will be attended by over 200 delegates from 27 countries, including the United States, from where more than half of the attendees come, including the renowned pacifists Cindy Sheehan, Ann Wright and Medea Benjamin. / By ACN / Translated by Ilia Charon - Radio Guantanamo.
