Cuba to Open Eight New Wi-fi Areas
Cuba's Telecommunications Company (ETECSA SA) announced the opening of eight other wifi areas for wireless Internet access located in parks and urban zones of high influx of public, while Holguin city is waiting for another one to join the two already in used ones.

Parks Antonio Maceo, in Consolacion del Sur, Pinar del Rio; Villuendas, in Cienfuegos; Maximo Gomez, in Ciego de Avila; Antonio Maceo in Las Tunas; Jose Antonio Echeverria, in Cardenas, Matanzas; Los Framboyanes, in Villa Clara and Madruga, in Mayabeque; and Yayabo Cultural Square in Sancti Spiritus, are the new areas for this service.

With these eight new wifi- areas, there are 43 public spaces throughout the country and it is expected to add 12 others before the end of the year, reported the Institutional Communication Direction of the telecommunications company. / CNA.
