Holguin Calls Meeting with Cuban Five Heroes
Holguin people will make a dream come true early December by welcoming the Cuban Five Heroes, true terrorism opposers that are already back to he Homeland after having unfairly served in US prisons; mostly because that northeastern province carried out several solidarity actions demanding their release, mainly the eighth International Colloquiums held there and the Five for the Five campaign.

To make this long waited and deep desire, the Holguin province branch of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) jhas called a meeting with Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Fernando Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero and Rene Gonzalez, and their respective families, in order to share with people and activists that could come to this northeastern city, where the nicknamed Cuban Five will receive the deserved acknowledgment by the people and the local leaders.

ICAP top leader in Holguin, Lupe Isabel Fernandez, said that the program will start next December the first (09.00 p.m. – Havana time), with a cultural event to receive them at the amphitheater on the base of the hill Loma de la Cruz.

The following day, as Cuba would be marking the 59 years of the historic Granma yacht landing, the Cuban Five and their families will split ad together with their families would visit the municipalities of Calixto Garcia, Rafael Freyre, Baguano, Banes and Holguin, where they would chare with the people.

In the afternoon, they will meet with leaders from the province and workers from the mechanical factories "26 de Julio" and "60 Aniversario de la Revolucion de Octubre."
And to close the day, that night they will share with communities of Holguin city.

On Thursday, they will place a wreath at the mausoleum to Calixto Garcia Iñiguez, a local hero and general that took part in the wars for Cuba's independence.
In the plaza named after Garcia Iñiguez, they will have a massive political and cultural gala to celebrate the return of the Cuban Five; right there, the traditional Peace Tents will be activated with the participation of children, young artists, and reps of organizations.

The Cuban Five will also visit the historic compound in Biran - the birthplace of brothers Fidel and Raul Castro Ruz.
Once back to Holguin, they will attend a celebration at the Ismaelillo theater, with activists from the International solidarity Movement.

ICAP top leader in Holguin said that at the Eddy Suñol theater (09.00 p.m. - Havana time), to attended a political and cultural gala to close the special program to celebrate The Five's return, and their first visit all together to Holguin city.
