Canada's Sunwing Flying to Santiago de Cuba Again
The Canadian Sunwing tour operator will start flying on Wednesday to Santiago de Cuba for the winter season, thus ratifying Canada as the nation sending the largest amount of vacationers to the Caribbean island.

Coming from Toronto, passengers will be welcomed with music and dances at the Antonio Maceo International Airport, as has become customary in the cradle of the son music genre and traditional songs.

Given the mildness of weather, starting from November and until April, 2016, there is an increase in the influx of visitors, being Sunwing one of the main tour operators choosing this destination in the Caribbean, due to the province's natural, historic and cultural attractions, in addition to heritage and the charisma of its people.

In July, the city of Santiago de Cuba celebrated the 500 th anniversary of its founding.
