Int'l Maths Forum Organized by the University of Matanzas
Sharing pedagogical experiences and scientific outcomes are part of the goals of the 17th International Event ''The Teaching of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer (Matecompu-2015), scheduled from November 17 thru 21.

Organized by the University of Matanzas, the academic meeting will be held at the hotel Acuazul, in this western province, located 140 kilometers east of Havana.

"Modernization and innovation in teaching strategies of teachers in the context of the 21st century" is the main theme of the event, which aims at discussing the way of teaching those three sciences in the training of professionals, the organizers of the event said.

The event's agenda includes the discussion of papers, poster presentations, conferences, workshops, panel discussions, talks, and exhibition of teaching aids.

The thematic areas are the use of computing resources inside and outside the classroom, and potential of information technology and communication to motivate the learning of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer technology.

Other issues to be analyzed will be the diversity of learning techniques, as well as natural sciences, humanities and technical careers and their application in research. / PL.
