Cuba Marks 40 Anniversary of Military Mission in Angola
Cuba's first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz Canel, headed the event to mark the 40th anniversary of the start of the internationalist military mission in the Republic of Angola.

The Cuban Vice President was accompanied by other members of the Politburo and Esteban Lazo Hernandez, president of the National Assembly of People's Power, and the Army Corps General Alvaro Lopez Miera, first deputy minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, among other political and governmental leaders.
