A report of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) of Cuba, added that FRAM operates in Cuba for 25 years. The club will be under joint administration of the Gallic tourist chain Accor and the Cuban hotel group Gran Caribe.
The Mercure Playa de Oro is located eight kilometers center of Varadero, distant 140 kilometers to the east of Havana, the capital of this country.
This installation possesses a modern architecture, puts at the disposal of the club 385 rooms split into two buildings with magnificent patios and balconies.
The general offer includes seven beach days, service of massages, sports variety: tennis, ski aquatic, I dive, aerobic and diverse familiar activities.
Under the club concept, the foreign visitors can gain access also to a wide range of gastronomic offers and night programming provided by French quizmasters.
It includes numerous excursions, which in this case can be realized to emblematic cities like Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Santa Clara, Havana and also to the Tourist Complex Guamá, in the Marsh of Shoe.
The operation will be supported by flights of the companies Air France/KLM, Air Europa and Iberia, from the French market.
France constitutes one of the main issuers for tourists to Cuba, and one of the main markets.
