From January 30th to February 1st, it will be held in Havana the Renewable Energy Fair and International Security and Emergency Salon where they will offer 76 national and foreign exhibitors new business opportunities.
Both exhibitions will be held at PABEXPO center, where 38 entities from 16 countries will demonstrate models of aero-generators, solar panels, geothermic applications, design, development and fabrication services, announced its organizers to the press on Friday.
One of its promoters, Roselle Guerra Campana, Director of the Ministry of Energy and Mining’s Renewable Energy explained in details the perspective national policy submitted to the consideration of the participants with the objective of evaluating possibilities of investment in the sector.
He characterized as positive the perspective in the field, due to the island’s attempt to lower the dependency of fossil fuel, increase environmental sustainability and reduce contamination.
The specialist added that one of the objectives of the plan to the year 2030 contemplates the installation of two thousand 284 megawatts of Bio-electric renewable sources, solar panels, windmills and small Hydro-electric Plants.
A Forum on Sustainable Energy was also held, organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mining and the European Union according to the program.
Fira de Barcelona and its local partner, Palco Business Group also sponsored the events that included an investment forum to present projects, business rounds and bilateral meetings among business executives.
The International Security and Emergencies Hall, in its first edition in Havana will include 34 companies, mainly from abroad, which will exhibit products and work security services, data management and solutions for the prevention of fires, flooding and other climate issues. With information of ACN
