Cuba has the support of the international community in its demand of ending the US blockade in front of the United Nations in New York , said Anayansi Rodriguez, Permanent Representative of the Caribbean island.
The diplomat thanked the expressions of support and said that while the blockade remains intact, Cuba will continue denouncing the unilateral measure in all multilateral forums and will also present its resolution for its elimination, reported Prensa Latina News Agency.

The member nations of the multilateral organization almost unanimously demonstrated that it favors dialog and cooperation in relations among States, said the ambassador.
She added that the economic blockade is an obstacle for Cuba’s development and constitutes a flagrant violation of the human rights of the people on the island.
